Mode Suisse Edition 7, Some Impressions

February 10th, 2015

Yesterday the 7th Mode Suisse Edition took place at the Kongresshaus in Zurich, and so we enjoyed the work of local design for next Fall Winter 2015 season.

It’s been really an interesting time, watching how swiss brands are explorating their own resources, trying to add something new in their more or less traditional visions.

If the shapes were most of the time down to earth, the use of colors and materials was different. This is the game between this art work that, to me, made the difference. Among my favorites: Claudia Bertini, Huber Egloff, Stein Rohner and En Soie. Because ‘Love Rules Forever’.

So here are some of my favorite looks and details: Oversized shaped coats, nonchalent silhouettes, wool mixes, print effects and a kind of french je-ne-sais-quoi. The two-tone coat looks a bit similar to my current DIY item. Will show you it soon.

Thanks to Yannick Aellen and his team for this day, I enjoyed it a lot.
