HOHOHO — Christmas is already there, what a month! The last weeks have been rough, sorry for the lack of posts. Hope you all survived the December fever! In fashion, in home decor and in merchandising as well there are always trends running. This year many window displays were decorated in a combination of gold, white and black. Edgy & classic, the combo always works! For my job I get more and more interested in the way stores are decorated. That’s why I decided to create a new category here on the blog, ‘STORES’.
So to celebrate it, I did a small selection of the ‘Best Christmas Window Displays’. It’s not just about colors, but fairy moods as well…
On the top of the list: Anthropologie for its 3D creative and aesthetic windows. Specially the ones from last year with the topic ‘Sugared & Spiced’, which recalled the streets of Amsterdam (see above). I love the versatile use of materials, like paper, fabrics, and… Ginger Bread?!.

Opulent decorating items currently seen at Dolce & Gabbana. And a special dinner table full of macarons, wine and shoes. Nice one.

On the left: Tiffany & co knows how to do it. The jewelry come on miniature displays, which reminds of a doll house… On the right, paper teddy bears are moving in a forest as well as in a kid’s room. Pure concept with an enchanting aura.
