As a previous summer story I introduced you the patchwork pareo made of small scarves. Remember it? For this I had to collect quite various patterns and sizes together, but it was fun -and I really enjoyed to have it with me specially at Zürich’s lake side. Perfect to change your wet bikini in all discretion!
DIY pareo worn with Isabel Marant Etoile Tee-Shirt, find similar here in burgundy via mytheresa.com. Shorts by Forte Forte. Geometric silver bracelet by Sarina Arnold. The whole selection via Vestibule Zürich.
Now that summer is over, I would like to come back to this fall trend that currently witnesses a big enthusiasm. These fine scarves indeed are worn around the neck or as a belt, as seen on the catwalks and on many street styles. Even if I’m a huge fan of the ‘How to wear a scarf’ article by Man Repeller, I’m still feeling a bit confused about it. I love to collect them, but at the end I barely wear one. The only thing that appeal to me is the concept of bracelet.
I had some rings that I never got to wear, so I was naturally looking for a way to DIY one bracelet or so. As I wasn’t super convinced of my performance, I started to accumulate these rings on a small scarf and hang it as a bracelet.
Here an example with one single ring:

Bright, bright idea. I see the reconciliation coming. I think it’s really great to wake up a simple tee-jeans outfit.
So now I’m looking to enlarge my collection, might this post encourages you to start your potentially new obsession too… Some favorites below:
