DIY Ethno Project for Up Magazin

August 23rd, 2012

I think it’s time to show you the last editorial DIY page I realized for Up magazine -you’ll find all the articles about it here. It seems that I was already in the ethno mood when I started working on this new project…

Fringes, fringes, fringes, it goes on!

On my inspiration board: the new Isabel Marant collection, black, brown and bordeaux tones, geometric forms. I have been searching a way to combine a very basic piece (a men tee-shirt, my favorite DIY basic piece ever you know!) with the ethno trend, so it’s basically a very easy DIY with hand beads embroideries – not that complicated, anyways you need patience and time.

DIY fringed beaded necklace*
Kookaï oversized top
Meltin Pot’ shorts

The way it starts…

And here my alternative if you don’t want to make embroideries: stitch chains along the collar and wear it with other necklaces, I’m sure it will look amazing!

One more time, it has been a pleasure to collaborate with the team! Thanks a lot to everyone. I hope you liked it as much as I do, have a wonderful day!
