Timeless and puristic designs, most of all in jewelry, are currently a kind of a new obsession. This minimalist bracelet is my favorite currently! I made a real overdosis of those braided chain & beaded bracelets that are currently everywhere to find.

So back to simple things. I get inspired from last season’s Celine jewelry line. For a tiny budget and with little effort, I propose you today this maxi effect DIY project…

What you need: a pair of pliers, metal ring (here at Depot for 5.95 CHF), some big beads in different sizes and colors (caution!- the bead hole should be wide enough for the metal ring).

Step 1. Cut a metal circle,

Curve the extremity like on the picture:

Step 2. Make a selection of beads (1 til 3 pieces), place them through the ring and curve the other extremity to shape the finishing. Curve but let it open enough to remove and wear it.

We are done! I might next try the short necklace version, à la Céline. I’m a fan of those minimalistic jewels.
