If there’s a fashion event that I didn’t talk about then it’s this one. The H&M Collection for Lanvin. The Lanvin H&M collection.
I know, the topic is controversial and I won’t criticize anything and anyone. For my part I haven’t been there and I don’t regret it. Exactly because I love this brand and its image. No disappointment registered! I prefer to wait for the day I might be able to buy something fabulous from one of my french label.
However this idea inspired me. I’ve chosen a red cherry colored tee from American Apparel, a piece of tulle and polka dotted fabric, shiny ribbon yarn, silk, and a crystal button. All material rests.

Tee-Shirt I’m Not Lanvin, DIY your own!
1. Start to hook the yarn to create the letters.
a. Double the thread and hang the loop. b. Pass the length from left to right. c. Let the loop underneath slide above the head of your crochet hook. You have a first stitch!
Apply and hand sew them directly on the tee.
2. Cut the sleeves vertically, it can’t be easier -and it looks perfect to any tee!
3. The embellishments: Sew large stitches throughout the tulle and strength the thread to create pleats.
Process the same way for the patterned fabric. Sew a needle on the reverse side, so that you can wash it carefree.
Don’t forget the button above the i letter!
Voilà, we’re done!
What about you, are you Lanvin -or not?
