The autumn season and its golden leaves are in front of the door, and I guess it’s time for me to talk about a new project. Those who have been following me for the past years – at least since 2013 – might have heard of Stylepaper. My passion project.
As a shop and retail lover since my student time I started to think more about it, when I arrived in Zurich. My idea was to build a network of interesting shopping addresses in Zurich, and to launch a seasonal newspaper. It was meant to inform and inspire people about these places, stories and cool items. We launched two issues last year and we had a blast. It was nice to see the result of our intense work, but it was also emotionally challenging.
Some new projects arrived after and I couldn’t invest enough time and energy to focus on Stylepaper – and started to rethink, looking for partners and support, or just other ways to work in this field.
This is where STORES & GOODS comes into the picture. I met my icon for retail and style, the journalist and critique Jeroen Van Rooijen. Our visions were quite similar, it’s about supporting local stores and promote them off and online. After some time it turned out we teamed up.
So I’m very happy to introduce you to this new digital shopping window, with the very best of Zurichs stores.
Under ‘STORES’ you’ll find videos featuring these addresses, and their story. In ‘GOODS’ you’ll find their selection of products and highlights each month. In one click you can reserve your favorites for 24 hours, and then go visit the store to try and buy them.
September has been amazing, we had fun at the office – as well as outside. I featured here some streetstyle shots we did last week with some key items. It’s all about metallics, leather, khaki and embroideries!
In case you want to read more about our products, but also trends, stores and other cool things: visit me on STORES & GOODS MAGAZINE, and also, learn more about our team.
Always wishing I’d more time to blog here, but time is short! Be sure I’ll be back soon with a new creative blog post. Wish you a good Sunday!
