Looks as if spring has finally arrived! Right after our recent posting troubles… Sorry for the ‘off time’. Like birds, we’re in the middle of a migration.
So in case you haven’t noticed yet, spring started on cotton candy notes. I usually don’t go for pink – I simply don’t wear it that often – but I have to say that I wouldn’t mind wearing these items. No dark tones, only pale ones; powder pink is always nice to combine with other colors, especially grey and taupe.
The velvet boots (2), a collaboration between Robert Clergerie and Self Portrait, were unveiled during NYC’s latest Fashion Week, in February. I am in love with everything: the shape, the material, but also the details. Just look at the bows in the back! The fringed leather bag (4) and the scarf (3) come from independent brands that can be found on the swiss online shop clomes.ch. I will show you more of the scarf later this season – I couldn’t resist buying one in another color. Last but not least: the shirt dress from FREITAG (1). It is 100% compostable! Its half linen/modal composition is highly desirable for summer. I would love to wear it as is or with other layers – an uncomplicated everyday piece of clothing that fits with everything.
By the way, did you know that you can create these pretty colors at home, simply using natural dying? Surprisingly it works well with avocado.
‘La vie en rose cette saison’, let’s try it out!
See you soon, enjoy the week.
